Henry Rollins @ The Comedy Theatre

Optical Audio was chosen to provide a high quality yet dynamic system to support Henry Rollins recent 3 night performance at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre. With the production being filmed for broadcast the system had to be discreet yet provide enough horsepower to support Henry’s sporadic performance levels

Utilising over 22 loud speakers in 10 audio zones an even high SPL coverage was provided to every seat in the house. At the heart of the system was the Yamaha DM1000 digital console with digital links to the Yamaha DME 24N network processor.

Core FOH system elements included

4 X NEXO PS15 Speaker

4 X OAP Dual 18" sublow

8 X JBL Control 1 speaker

4 X JBL Control 25 speaker

Complimenting the FOH system 4 Nexo PS15’s  were used for monitors to give Henry the feeling of the 'Black Flag' days, with a blisteringly loud tune the Nexo system yet again provided the best solution to a high SPL environment.

Time alignment was conducted using the SMAART Live V5 system.
